Concrete In Australia : March 2014
Concrete in Australia Vol 40 No 1 21 considerably reduced fixing times when compared to loose shear links and are designed using free calculation software available from shear rail manufacturers. Double-headed steel studs are supplied welded to flat steel rails at the designed centres. The rails ensure stud alignment and the accurate vertical positioning of the studs within the slab.
