Concrete In Australia : June 2008
NEWS ATS in Perth Western Australia Branch has confirmed 23 July as the date for the 2008 Annual Technology Seminar (ATS) and gala dinner. As in recent years, the ATS and dinner will be held at Burswood International Resort Casino. Program and registration details have been distributed to all members in Western Australia. Company members across the country have also received details. Principal sponsor for the 2008 ATS and dinner is CEMEX. Western Australia Branch sponsors for 2008 also include BG&E, Husqvarna Construction Products, Structural The Institute’s Council will meet in Perth to coincide with the event Systems, GHD, BGC Cement, Concrete Colour Systems, Diamond Cut Concrete, BASF, Cockburn Cement, Papworths, Parchem and Sika. Themed as Excellence in concrete, the ATS program promises to be well attended by a broad cross section of industry participants. The Branch is aiming for 300 at the dinner so the event presents as an excellent networking opportunity. The Institute’s Council will meet in Perth to coincide with the event. This will be the fi rst time since 2001 since Council has met in Perth. SA Branch staff appointment The increased level of Institute activity in South Australia over the past 18 months or so has caused the Branch to move to appointing an Adelaide based Branch administrator.
